Move to 2 mg after weeks 1–2 (6 clicks).

1–2mg a day is the usual range. Injection-site stinging is common at first and fades.

How to use your pen

  1. 1

    Attach a new needle

    Clean the tip with an alcohol swab and screw on a fresh needle.

    Prime the pen

    Dial 2 clicks, point the needle up and press until a drop appears.

  3. 3

    Dial your clicks

    Turn the dial to 3 clicks for 1 mg.

  4. 4

    Inject

    Into belly or thigh fat. Press fully and hold for 10 seconds.

  5. 5

    Store

    Remove the needle, recap and keep the pen in the fridge (2 to 8°C).
